One of the best Japanese restaurants I’ve ever been to. The atmosphere is a cozy, warm vibe. Someone in our party had special dietary requirements due to surgery and they happily and without any extra cost catered delicious food for her needs. Not only that, but everything ordered was well served and absolutely exquisite. This was a 10/10. Definitely will be back again.

This place is a little gem. Food is beautiful, extensive menu, got everything I like in a Bento box plus a beer. Service is quick and nothing is too much trouble. They stayed late for us as we were having a late dinner. Their specials are great and their prices are very good to eat Japanese food.

First time I tried Kumamoto ramen. I love garlic so I really liked this ramen dish. The pork katsu & karaage were cooked perfectly. Service was efficient. Covid-safe practices in place for a small restaurant (QR code login, sanitisers on table, EFTPOS payment, and main door left open for ventilation).

This place deserves a higher rating! The food was all amazing – definitely recommend the bentos and sushi. Miso soup was delicious too. Staff are really lovely. If you are looking for something authentic, affordable and simple this is the place 🙂

I don’t know why this place is only 3.7 star rating. Solid Japanese izakaya with delicious, hot ramen, generously cut pieces of chashu that’s robust in flavour. Curry pork katsu is delish. Portion sizes are above average to generous. Chef gave us extra gyoza on the house. They were accomodating when we rocked up at 8:50pm (closes 9:30pm) when other places in the area were reluctant to seat us in. Owners are friendly and helpful, and hardworking. A neighbourhood gem for sure.
