Let me decide for you. Do it. Delicious food and generous serving. The boys are busy on most nights so allow a bit of time for prep of your meal, but honestly the food is worth it. And if there’s a wait. It’s good. We stayed in Hervey Bay for a week and visited multiple times. Not oily and greasy like other places that sell noodles in a box lol… so so good. Thanks fellas, well done! Compliments to the chef…

Groovy noodle is amazing the workers are super friendly. The dishes are made in wok at the front of the store, where you can watch one of the two making the food. The other was serving and taking customers orders.

I am writing this review on behalf of my partner. Following a bad noodle experience she had at another in-area restaurant last weekend, we were desperately hoping Groovy Noodle would be better, and she wasn’t disappointed. Whilst Satay Chicken wasn’t on the menu (disappointing for my partner as it’s her favourite), she tried the Pad See Ew on recommendation of the staff. Very tasty, and a vast improvement on her previous noodle experience. In addition, the staff were kind and courteous, and portion offering was ok at a good price, and served in a timely manner. Whilst we have been spoilt with exceptional noodle bars in Yamanto, QLD, this noodle bar is a good enough alternative in our new home location, so we will be back.

Humans being humans, my order for a full bowl of honey chicken wasn’t correct. I was given a half bowl with rice. I went back in the following evening, and the staff looked up my order and were really accommodating and friendly, replacing the order. The food was soooo delicious, if I were staying in the bay longer this place would be my go to. Do yourself a favour, and don’t walk past this place!
