Still one of the best value, freshly prepared & tastiest Japanese restaurant at Neutral Bay. Every dish is nicely prepared & very yummy. If you book 6pm to 7:30pm session, be on time to enjoy your meal for 90 minutes. We have been going to this place for a long time now. Thanks Team Kyushu.

Busy restaurant which booking is essential. 2 seating available, from 6pm and from 7.30pm. Restaurant was packed. Best we love shallots pork wrap and teriyaki beef which It’s the best I’ve had in Sydney.

A cosy and reasonably priced Japanese restaurant. We really like their teppanyaki chicken, it’s a must have, too bag they ran out of teppanyaki squid as that’s very good too. The other good dishes are Sashimi and Beef Tataki. We also like the Japanese sake there especially Dassai.

We love Kyushu, we have been regular customers for many years now and our now adult children are almost making it a weekly dining experience. Our last visit as a family we even spotted a famous fish chef visiting, must have been off to the Oaks afterward with his pals. I must say it is the only restaurant I will ever order the teriyaki chicken. No one else makes this dish to their consistent standard anywhere else I have ordered. Keep up the great food Kyushu, we love it.

We have been going to this restaurant for over 25 years. Food was always excellent, teriyaki chicken was our favourite. Last night we noticed the food quality had declined. Teriyaki chicken was no longer crispy and full of flavour. Chicken was also under cooked, brown/dark chicken and bland. Steak was raw and tasteless. I called the manager this afternoon and her attitude to my complaint was appalling. Could not have cared less. The whole experience was very disappointing. Won’t be going again or recommending this restaurant to any of our friends.

Great value restaurant in a good location just around the corner from the Oaks Hotel. Food is always fresh and very tasty. You must book in advance and be on time for your booking. I was once 20 mins late for a booking and our table was given away.
