There is always excitement when a business has new owners, so we decided to order takeaway for dinner last night and hoped the standard was just as good as the previous owners. Sadly this was not to be the case. The stand out fail was the grilled barramundi. For $16.40 it was the size of a potato scallop and so dry that I couldn’t eat it. The potato scallops were under cooked and very blonde. The cheese burger was inedible – stale bun, dry patty, with a film (not a slice) of cheese. The milkshake was left off the order completely. However, when we rang to address these issues, the man who answered the phone was apologetic and offered us a full refund on the food we were not happy with. Thankfully as locals this is doable. We will be keeping an eye on future Google reviews.

Such a bad business ! They advertise a lie & say they have “The Best Burgers”, they don’t even make their own patty, they use a bought in dry, tasteless, processed patty, stale bread, not even close to the best burger & expensive ! I bought a tub of ice cream, what an absolute rip off at over $10, they should be ashamed. I’m not going back unless they can explain this ??? So upset & feel ripped off ! I was hoping they would at least be as good as the last owner buy fall very short especially when it comes to honesty & value. The burger patty deserves – 1 star ! The people leaving good reviews must be friends, staff or family.

The new store looks great. And we used to go to the one In Nambour. However this is our second time here and it is way too expensive to be not very nice. We save up to eat out once a week and the portions are small and food not very nice sorry to say but we won’t be back again.

I was so wanting to be wowed by our newly reopened take away. The first thing I noticed was the pricing, it is up there. I’m a burger connoisseur, so I’m prepared to shell out for a great burger. I ordered a plain burger (as a control for wherever I’m eating) for $12.90 and a pineapple fritter for $2.50. for that price I expect a fresh, house made patty. It was a frozen commercial patty. There was no beetroot on the burger despite the menu, and approximately 18 molecules of sauce. I asked for cinnamon sugar on the fritter and got none. To say I was disappointed was an understatement. My partner has NEVER seen me not finish a burger until today. I want you guys to succeed so I will let you get settled in and find your groove and return, but until then, The Hub gets our business.
