Old Town Hong Kong Cuisine – Broadsheet Sydney

It’s all in the name at this Dixon House eatery. Crisp, bronze Peking Duck hangs in the kitchen window, which you can try san choy bao-style or on pancakes.

Just the best Cantonese. Can’t say any dish was below average… everything was just perfect. My compliments to the chef … this was my 5th or 6th visit and I have to travel 1 hour in train to get there but it’s worth the time and money. Do try the chili prawn… it’s mouth watering just to even name the dish … absolutely fabulous.

I wasn’t happy to have a condition of entry spending $35 per person just to dine here. How ridiculous.

Average service and not bad food but not really good too. To dine in here you need to spend at least $35/person which is kinda ridiculous.

A casual HK eatery, that I usually come for supper or after a late night out. The congee is cooked well. Also recommend the XO Oysters with vermicelli and curry fish balls. The Salt and Pepper Squid probably a bit too over seasoned. All in all, worth a visit and probably one of the better Chinese restaurants that are still opened late at night. The only thing is there is a minimum charge per person, otherwise the food is worth the visit.

A place in Sydney that gives you a feed after 10pm. The service is fast and efficient. There are great choices for vegetarians as well. And the food was excellent. Very happy with everything. Definitely recommend.

Dined here on Saturday with my OH and two sons for their birthdays. Great food, good atmosphere and great service. We took a cake and the staff sang happy birthday and put a sparkler in the cake, which we didnt expect..but it was lovely of them. Recommend for casual dining and a great food and service. Thanks guys, we will be back 🙂

Cannot recommend this place more highly. To start with, this place is open past 10pm which is incredible for all the night owls (like myself). The service is fast. The food is banging. Excellent hidden gem. I will always return! P.S. delivery is also 5/5!!

Went there for lunch and it was relatively empty. Service was super fast. We ordered Peking duck and some noodles along with the mango pomelo. Overall the food was really good. The menu had a lot of variety so will definitely want to come back to try something else.
