Went to the Bowerbird last night and had some of the best Italian food I’ve ever eaten. Trust me when I say I’ve eaten a lot of it. Started with the entree of tortellini mortadella and Parmesan fonduta with truffle sauce. Next was the Italian sausage with duck ragu and home made parpadelle pasta with salted ricotta. Both were outstanding. The chef is a genius.

So happy that Bowerbird is now at the wonderful location of the Byron Bay Golf Club….so it’s incredible food in an amazing picturesque location. we’ve been three times in the last month and it will be a regular. Chef Tom Bower’s food is sooooo good. The menu is brilliant. And because it’s in a club, it’s affordable and the drink prices are good value. Love great food in a non fine dining environment. Cannot recommend this place more highly. The prawn cocktail puts a new twist on an old favourite. Tom’s signature prawn garlic and chilli pasta speaks for itself. the steak! melt in your mouth. same with the lamb rump. and the entrees! love it all

One of the best meals I have had in Byron in a very very long time! The Lamb shoulder special was sooo good.! And plenty of Room for the kids to run while we got to actually enjoy a meal. Winning all round. See you soon!

Great place for families to come for dinner. Relaxed environment with heaps of seating options to spread out when you have kids. The food is top notch too, didn’t expect it from a clubhouse kitchen but its really delicious and the view over the course is awesome! Thanks for having us!
