Nothing elegant here! If you want an embarrassing evening with friends turn up here with an offensive BYO (see pic) on your anniversary. Expensive food, bright lights, no atmosphere, and untrained staff. Didn’t get to try the “elegant” food or whatever wine they try to fob off so can’t comment on that. Sorry to be so blunt but in my neighbourhood, who needs it with fifty alternatives within walking distance. Sorry to predict another small business disaster.

Our group of 8 booked in for Sunday lunch in late May and it was fantastic! The 3-course set menu was so well priced and food was delicious. It’s a small restaurant space but worked well for our big group and a few smaller groups dining at the same time. Highly recommend for a yummy French meal!

The entree pate was quite nice,but everything else behind were quite disappointing. The main course steak was over cooked , very dry and tasteless. The French crepe dessert tasted like rubber, extremely dry with no moisture at all. Staff are not friendly as no one has a smile on their face. However the lunch prices do match the quality of their food.

The risotto was way too salty and so much sauce on it, we can’t even finish half . crepe was too much sauce ok it and way too sweet . Disappointed meal and the way too hot in the restaurant, everyone were sweating.

We had the Kilpatrick oysters to start with. The sauce on the oysters were too eatery and diluted. For entres we had ordered the escargot bit there was only one serving left so we had the onion soup as a replacement. Soup was ok nothing special. The escargot es great especially the pastry. For mains we had the Southern France prawn linguini and the cherry duck. Both dishes sauces were too salty.
