Sous Le Soleil is the ideal location for your special event. Situated in the middle of Roseville Park, the Firs cottage been built before 1824 by Daniel Dering Mathew (1788-1856). The cottage has been fully renovated. Our floor plan enables us to offer you and your guests a variety of dining options which, when matched with a modern gourmet French cuisine that is affordable and approachable, will ensure that the memory of your event is treasured by your guests.

Heritage home converted into a French restaurant serving course meals. Atmosphere is good. Most outdoor seating are under covered area. Indoor seating is through 3 separate rooms with 3-4 tables for two approximately. The dishes were seasoned just right and service was great.

First time visit for our anniversary dinner on a Friday evening. We sat inside although, also, there are covered balcony and courtyard options. Simply outstanding. Wonderful dishes and excellent value compared to city restaurants. 3 courses for $80. The lamb, fish, steak, scallops, French onion soup and soufflé were impeccable. Excellent service from knowledgable staff. No BYO on Fri or Sat although the wine list is good. We enjoyed St Emillion and Chablis. I will return.

Superb French food. The crab souffle was perfectly cooked and full of flavour. The lamb on truffle sauce as main was amazing and the desert souffle and pistachio brulle was amazing. Highly recommended and value for money.

You often go to a restaurant and find one of the courses good, and rest so so, this is the only French restaurant that does excellent starters mains and desserts. Must try if you haven’t been. I think we are hooked as you cant get better than this.

Great local French restaurant in Roseville. Charming venue, great food and attentive service. A few waiters even spoke french. I had scallops for entree, Kingfish for main and crème caramel for dessert. All delicious.

WORTH THE HYPE. Rare to see places open this long at a 4.7 (at time of posting) rating on Google – I can see why! The food was simply outstanding; every dish absolutely packed with flavour! Such reasonably priced considering the very high quality of food that is served. All the staff were an absolute delight. And all of this in a really beautiful location / setting. Easily one of the best on the north shore! Thanks for an amazing meal and 100% we will return soon!
