you are looking for a high-quality meal with delicious food, I highly recommend the tasting menu at Aurora restaurant . The acidity of the tartar was not enough for my taste, but the cooking of other meats and their sauces was delicious.

We visited Aurora the second time tonight. Food and service was, if not better, as good as last time.

Wow! Was going to a show at The Light Room and thought I’d venture into Aurora for dinner .The two entree dishes and my roasted peach dessert were superb . My friends ,and those who like big pub meals won’t …but it’s the best food I’ve had for quite a while .I had the flathead with Kohlrabi and the Zuchini Flowers with prawns .

I booked for a Friday lunch for a 60th birthday lunch with my family. We opted for the chefs selection menu. The food was delicious, and artistically presented. We were not rushed with our meal, with the service extending from midday to just after 4pm. This made the whole event convivial and enjoyable. Aurora have an inviting list of their own crafted cocktails that we sampled. The wine list is extensive with carefully selected and interesting wines – I did take two of my own bottles for this special occasion though you need to be aware of the corkage fee. The restaurant ambience is great and the service that we received was outstanding. This was my second time dining at Aurora and I am looking forward to returning again. A special thank you to Adam for his guidance in selecting wines and his warm hospitality.

A mostly disappointing evening with some dishes that were good. Serving sizes are generally quite small for the prices. Two things that were not great were the “flathead” and the quail. The flathead dish didn’t look like it was flathead as the slices of fish were bright orange like smoked salmon. The quail was a roulade and must have been stuffed with another meat but was hard to tell what it was. The concerning part was that the quail appeared undercooked and almost raw.

What a wonderful evening we had! Both of us had the tasting menu and the chefs catered perfectly for our pescatarian request. The staff were all super friendly and really made you feel as though they genuinely cared that you had a special experience. The food was all delicate and really well thought at. Each dish was well paced so we didnt feel rushed. We had advise on our wine choice which matched perfectly. A fabulous experience thank you team!

I wish I could give more stars. From walking in we were cheerily greeted and we felt welcomed and comfortable. The servers were on the ball topping up drinks and clearing plates. We had the six course degustation and paired wines and everything was delicious, well cooked and the portions were greater than anticipated. Highlights were the octopus, venison and the dessert. I wasn’t a fan of the pumpkin, but it was very unique and a funky contrast of flavours.

One of my favourite spots in Adelaide. Every time I’ve dined here the menu has been different and I’ve loved everything I’ve tried, especially the incredible desserts. Great food, wine, service, vibe and atmosphere – love watching the Chefs from the open kitchen.
