Working in the vicinity of the Riverside Zambrero and it consistently fails to meet any kind food or customer expectations. Shop churns through staff on a weekly basis, or is used as a training centre. The staff need to be watched at every step to ensure the order is correctly made. On many occasions they’re not able to wrap a burrito, or know which or how much ingredients to add. Might as well be a self serve shop front with an eftpos machine.

I would so love to rate higher as I LOVE my Zambies; from the fresh taste to the friendly service..however both times I’ve been to this one & have asked for vegan sour cream & vegan cheese due to lactose intolerance I’ve experienced very familiar symptoms to what happens when I consume dairy….guys, if it’s really dairy free I wouldn’t be experiencing what I am right now and it’s pretty sneaky what’s considered an “extra”..it adds up very fast $$.

Coeliacs beware. Noticed a staff member scoop meat out of the pot and rub the spoon against the wheat tortilla, then place the spoon back in the meat leaving serious potential for cross contamination. Enough for me to walk away without ordering.
