Ordered the Slow Cooked Beef Burrito Bowl with added roasted jalapeño salsa – $12.50 via the GYG app. Great for a quick lunch as you get your order pretty fast – literally within minutes, maybe 10 to 15 minutes during peak hours. Significantly more rice in comparison to the beef, however, serving size is good for the price. Beef was tender and salsa was delicious.

Unfortunately, this branch of Guzman y Gomez is trying to save on the amount of ingredients. The burritos, the tacos and the quesadillas have an amount of ingredients which is ridiculously LOW compared to other branches. It happened once, and I thought they just made a mistake. It happened twice, and I thought they were just too busy. Now, it happened for the third time. No more excuses, 1 star for you guys. Do yourself a favour and walk to Guzman y Gomez in Wintergarden!

Everytime I see those workers who are handing out orders at the front desk, were struggling due to large amount of orders they have to call out and pass on to the hungry customers, but never willing to respond when someone ask if their order is ready, especially those who placed an order through online like me. I asked them if it’s ready but she goes I am too busy and then pointed her finger to a table where they keep the food waiting for customers to pick up, where it’s not possible to see it clearly without moving others food on there which I hesitate to do so. I’ve been waiting another 15 minutes but still wasn’t ready. Turned out it was just sitting at the behind of other bunch of food. Thank you team for being so unprofessional. It’s your problem if you need more staff, not that customers need to find their order themselves. Oh, almost forgot to tell that the thickness of buritto in this restaurant is like half of what you would expect from other GYG store.

Ordered online 10 mins before hand just to wait another 20 and when I asked staff if my order would be done soon (could legit seeing sitting behind them for 10 mins) they tried to ignore me and brush me off before they realised my order was ready and they gave it to me without so much as a sorry, oh and of course my food was Luke warm
