Known as both Yahoo Hillcrest and Yahoo Boronia Heights (it’s just on the Hillcrest side of the border between the two suburbs). Whichever your preferred reference, it’s still a bit of a hike for me which is the main reason I’ve not been until this visit – had a church camp/retreat up at Mt Tamborine and decided to go the back way so I could swing by Ya Hoo for lunch on the way. Lo and behold who should we see upon our arrival but another church family with the same idea!

I’ve been coming here for a while as a local regular (many years now). I’m originally from Singapore and can attest to their authenticity for select dishes. Excellent service, good price, and good food. Highly recommend the iPoh Ho Fun, comes with authentic green chilli which is a must for me. The wok hei is occasionally a hit or miss, but still one of the best in Brisbane for the price.
