It’s a bar so you need ID to get in to the restaurant. We got there at 6 and there were like two other tables but the rest of the restaurant was empty. Menu isn’t super extensive, ordered the kung pao chicken and pan fried pork buns, both were super mid and missing that OOMPH of umami… disappointing. Pan fried buns weren’t fried enough. By the time we left the restaurant was still kinda empty idk maybe that speaks for itself

This restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of a club. Although open to the public, you will need to register yourself before being allowed to enter. We were pleasantly surprised to find authentic tasting, delicious Shanghainese cuisine here, many of the dishes are much more well-cooked than the restaurants in Singapore, which was really unexpected. Do try the soup dumplings (xiao long bao) and pan fried buns (sheng jian bao). The hot and sour soup is also good. Stir-fried vegetables are lightly cooked to retain their crunchiness and colour. Highly recommend.

My relations eat here often and say that it is always good, and for our visit recently, that was no exception. Good Chinese food, quite tasty but not heavy at all and all good value. Good drink selections from the club which it is part of. Friendly service and simple but comfortable setting. It is a bit hidden away to go into club and up the lift, but worth finding.

Been here twice and I have to say that food is really good with reasonable price. I don’t mind giving 4 to 5 stars if I don’t have to wait for more than 20 minutes during lunch hours, it’s not fully seated yet and you can’t even keep up with your foot track? How can you retain customers working nearby who only has 45 minute lunch break?
