Came for unlimited dumplings and beer. It was the first night, so it may be a bit slow. With a 90 minute seating, beer only came after 20 minutes, and dumplings started 10 minutes after. Very attentive and friendly service though.

Located just past Cabana bar this place has 2 seating areas. Dined in the second floor which had a more airy type vibe. Music was good & the food was fantastic. Tried quite a few dishes here & everything tasted great. Highly recommend the pork bao, sweet & sour pork & the bang bang roti was . Couldn’t find waitstaff at certain points during our time there & had to ask for them to check on our rice order & request for water refills a few times, service was friendly & gave us lots of recommendations on dishes.

Bottomless Bites and Bevvies is such a great deal, it includes unlimited dumplings & prawn crackers, and also 2 of their cocktails, 1 of their mocktails & Great Northern beer on tap. Not sure when this promo ends though! They have fab service too . I enjoyed all the foods & the cocktails , my fave were Edamame (sweet spicy sauce was so good, that I use it to dip the dumplings!), Prawn Dumplings & Fried Pork Hock. Both cocktails were really nice, however the mocktail was a tad sweet for me.

Beautiful restaurant, second time going there! Went by my self for dinner on work trip. The massaman lamb curry is to die for! Amazing service, lovely waiters very attentive, brought me a takeaway box as the portion was huge. $39 for curry and $6 for rice, on the higher end of pricing but worth it for a fancy dinner with amazing flavours.

Quite delicious but it’s not worth the price. The portions are so small comparing with the price. $17 for 4 small xia long bao?? $18 for a small dessert?! Also, the fried rice is sweet (I mean… where in the world chinese fried rice using sweet soy sauce?? It tasted more like Indonesian javanese fried rice ) the lamb curry was sweet as well. Service was nice, however since we were sitting outside, it was annoying to often ask for the tap water. They didn’t have many front staffs and the staffs weren’t attentive filling up the water. I mean, if that’s the case, why don’t you just put a bottle of water in our table?!

The decor grabs you even more as you look at all the details, such as the hanging monkeys. We were seated at the back near the entry to the kitchen, which wasn’t great, so maybe ask for a table in the middle. There are many sections to this establishment & a whole upstairs devoted to a Sardine Bar. Our waiter, who hailed from Paris, was welled trained. He was touching base with us to make sure everything was progressing well & our glasses were refilled. The menu is not huge but quality. We loved the fish curry. Our reisling was reasonably priced for Sydney & was very enjoyable. We skipped dessert, but my friend said that next time we had to try the yuzu curd. Look forward to returning.

Food was delivered quickly and very tasty. Lots of fresh herbs which worked well with the style of Asian food. Great serving sizes too. Service was efficient considering it was very busy. We sat in the roof top bar which wasn’t ideal for dinner but we appreciated being accommodated without a booking.

In the mew MLC building, menu options are extensive. In winter you would want to be inside, staff was helpful but took time to get attention. Food portions were good size and the duck was my favourite.
