Read all the reviews and had to come see for myself if it was as bad as some say 1st off the server was nice he didn’t speak English told us to oder off the QR code we got around The language barrier by using my translation app he love it and we got some freebies out it the food was nice nothing special for the price but it is Sydney and in the city the rent ain’t cheap also the food was freshly cooked and the BBQ duck was moist and not dry like some places akso the eel was nice and soft too not chewy the only thing I had a bit of issue was the loud TV like a sports bar lol other than that it was good over all

Listen to me when I say AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. We spent 2 hours total at this place for 5 skewer dishes which cost $90, it was genuinely the worst experience we’ve ever had in a restaurant. They placed us in a tiny table so we asked if we could move to the bigger table which was recently vacated by another group. The table was filthy, we waited half hour for the table to be cleaned up and politely requested about 3 times. Owners have some sort of short term memory because not only did they not even end up cleaning the table for the whole 2 hrs, they didn’t get our orders right and even asked us what we ordered. Then they tried to place our food at the dirty table on the plate of the people who ate before us . We ended up taking our plates and moving ourself to the tiny table we initially were placed at. To top it off, they forgot a dish we ordered and had the nerve to argue that we already received it and tried to point out the skewer sticks THAT WERE ON THE DIRTY TABLE FROM THE PREVIOUS GROUP as if it was ours. Oh, and they just substitute dishes with a different dish without asking you when they’re out of stock, and when confronted just tell you they’re giving you a more expensive dish (didn’t ask for that?) but tiny portion of it. The food is hit or miss – driest chicken we’ve ever ate but the pork enoki was good. Definitely not even close to salvaging that horrendous service.

If music was bad food, Jinzhou BBQ would have knocked the likes of Taylor Swift and Eminem out of the park. Had Qin Shihuang, in his persistent search for immortality, been told that Jinzhou BBQ’s dishes would grant the immortality he so craved, he would have accepted a mortal life. Soup dumplings were weird oversized buns without soup, roasted duck was massively overpriced for its portion. This restaurant opens late, a proof that terrifying creatures of the night truly do exist, at least from my taste buds’ point of view. 0/5 if I could.

Pretty great value for money. Excellent variety, the staff are also very kind and attentive in their service. Great place to go with friends for bbq skewers. They’re open open quite late so it’s also great for when you’re feeling hungry after a night out.

Tables were all dirty. Served our table cold leftovers from another table. We placed an order for enoki mushrooms which cost $25. This was not served. After enquiring about the order, the owner states he had placed 2 sausages on another skewer dish that was already served and that was to replace the enoki dish. This was not informed to us at the time of serving. When we requested a refund for that dish the owner states that it was our fault for eating the sausages even though we were not aware of this change. It was also raised it was ridiculous 2 sausages would be substituted for a dish that was $25. Upon further request for a refund, the owner quickly escalated to the point where he threatened our group with his knife/cleaver. Would strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant at all costs. Terrible attitude from the owner.

Best BBQ in Australia. Best taste best service and best place. We always enjoy the food there, good price. The dining experience brings me back to the days when I was in Harbin.
