The myths about this place is true it has a buzzing atmosphere and full of people chatting and having a great timw, the set menu is small on size but makes up for it on taste. The steaks are thick and juicy and cooked to perfection. The desert was even better. Great selection of wines to complement the meals.

This place has been around for a long time. To its credit it’s keep its originality. Décor has been kept the same and also the way they serve food. It’s a simple menu, so simple you have pretty much one choice which is a $105 set menu. The entries are served with a salad which although very simple goes well with the amount of meat. You have a selection of fillet, porterhouse or a rump steak cooked to your liking. At the end of the day the steaks are beautiful here. It’s simple and I like that. I even like the décor and it’s over originality. I just can’t justify the price tag of $105 for the set menu. Staff are great though. Still worth trying.

An unusual but wonderful little place. There are no choices, other than what cut of meat you prefer and how well cooked you’d like it, but that’s what makes this place special. They do steak and they do it fantastically. Add to that their own special mustard and it’s a real hidden treasure. I’m so glad we were lucky enough to know someone who knew of it!

It’s an institution. A tradition. An experience. Call it what you like. Vlado’s is a steakhouse like no other, where quality meat takes centre stage and a simple cabbage salad, the music. The decor is indeed a little outdated but it is perfect for this establishment staying true its passion in steak. Go there, find out for yourself. It might not be quite $105 worth but you haven’t tasted the steak at Vlado’s, you probably will not know a steak’s true form.

Was recommended to try this place out – no regrets. A very cosy place, tables are close to one another to accommodate more guests, recommended to make a reservation. Menu is set, no ala carte. Great homemade sausage and perfectly cooked steak (had mine rare). Different available cuts are brought out for your selection. There was so much meat in the set menu, I had trouble finishing mine, only because I didnt have the stomach capacity. Salad, bread and dessert was served too. Condiments (Mustard and Relish) are set on the table. Service was good. Would visit again to get my steak fix!
