This place is a must for steak lovers. The beef chevaps were so soft and succulent. I had the SCOTCH FILLET 350GM Grain Fed Queensland Angus which was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing, absolutely loved it! Service was on point and we were even given a complimentary serve of the beef chevaps which we devoured. The chef/owner even came out to check that everything was good which is a nice touch that you don’t really come across these days. We’ll definitely be coming back for more

Exceptional! The best steak we’ve had! The food was amazing and the customer service incredible! The tavern is inviting, very clean and very comfortable. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection! We tried the lamb ribs (10/10!) and Beef & Reef (10/10!) which was served with mashed potato and salad – the serves were generous and beautifully paired. Kudos to the chef who is an amazing host and also to his amazing team who made us immediately feel welcome. Ivanhoe Tavern is definitely a firm favourite and we can’t wait to go back! Thank you!

My girlfriend and I went when we kept seeing this venue pop up on TikTok. I can honestly say that the reviews speak for themselves. This restaurant is a hidden gem of Ivanhoe. The steaks were cooked perfectly, outstanding service and even managed to have a chat with the owner. I would highly recommend Ivanhoe statehouse to anyone if they’re looking for good food, great service and an outstanding experience.

The menu combinations were locked in so, although the food was of fairly good quality, we were limited to ordering the way they wanted and was quite expensive, which was a bit disappointing. The did manage to provide a meal for our vegetarian family member which was good.
