What a lovely Sydney hidden gem! Stumbled across this place for dinner before watching our musical at the States Theatre in the same building. Great atmosphere, great service and great food. Thoroughly enjoyed the 800g Brooklyn Valley Grass-fed Delmonico Steak from the serve to finish!

At the bar area was really nice. Bartenders were professional and friendly. Good cocktails. Food wasn’t my taste, but I was enjoying every bite of the burger and kingfish. Recommend to make a booking if you plan to be there after 5pm. It’s busy.

Fabulous food, terrific waitpersons and great atmosphere! We went here for dinner before a show after finding it through Google. What a hidden gem. Atmosphere is querky but classy with a bit of old world Gatsby charm. We were early for our booking so sat at the bar and ordered cocktails while listening to the funky DJ who played great tunes all the time we were there, loud enough to enjoy but not too loud that you couldn’t chat easily so he created a good vibe. Our waitperson Phillipo looked after us with a smile and answered all of our questions about the menu with great information and was passionate about the food. He made our visit really great fun. All of the staff were really friendly and professional but relaxed. The food was next level heavenly….linguine crab pasta was amazing, beautifully cooked, spaghetti vongole cooked to perfection and the biggest pork chop we have ever seen, we all had a piece of it, delicious! Dessert ( which we managed to squeeze in…lol) is not to be missed…we had liquorice gelato and also English trifles ….wow, so good!! Massive thanks to the chef and his team who we could see working in the background creating these delicious dishes and also to the waitstaff and hostesses who all made our night very memorable. We will definitely be back, so many other dishes, cocktails and mocktails to try, can’t wait.

We had a great dinner here with first impression of warm greetings from the host. The red wine and cocktails were served with interesting explanation and the steak were delicious with correct way of cooking that we wanted. We highly recommend the place to anyone want to try good food and great service.

Food was very good: the only spoiler was the fennel salad served with the pork cutlet was underwhelming. Wine list was excellent. Servers were attentive, but there was a wait of nearly an hour between entrees and mains! Worth a visit just to check out the amazing decor (and, yes, you can exit by the old wooden stairs)!

A wonderful spot for celebrating a special occasion or simply celebrating the end of the work week. We had the burrata and peaches with a superb pesto sauce followed by calamari and then the divine pasta dishes which didn’t leave much room for dessert, tempting as they looked. Everything was delicious, focusing on fresh ingredients as the star of the dishes. The only thing that marred it slightly was the waitress trying to convince us to have the pizzetta with ricotta to mop up the burrata as it felt like we were being upsold, but generally speaking, the service was excellent. Highly recommended
