Although Melbourne has an overload of Italian restaurants Hardware Club has a unique offering by utilising the wood fire oven for pasta dishes and meats in addition to bread and pasta. They are not afraid to experiment (in good way) too. Great atmosphere for a late supper too

My partner and I enjoyed the food the served here. We ordered: pumpkin tempura, calamari, ossobuco white ragu parpadelle, and tiramisu. They were all really good. The calamari was amazing! Would come back to try other things.

We had a fantastic meal here last night. Vibey place, great Italian wine and memorable food. The owner was super excited about the wine he’d brought in from Italy and it was great to chat to him about the style and where it was from. Loved every part of this place.

Came here for the squid ink linguine and must say it indeed worths it. Nice wine selection. Staffs are friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable. Love the cozy ambiance. Will comeback to try the bone marrow.
