Had dinner here on a Saturday evening, with another couple, and I must say we did not have one complaint with the food and a comprehensive wine menu to boot.

What a view! The staff are very pleasant. Great portion sizes with the sandwiches and chips. Some of the other items on the menu appeared a tad bit overpriced but you are paying for the view! Would not mind visiting again

There is a massive difference in pricing when dining in and dining out. So, we choose to take it to go. Was expecting the food to be average but the portion was so small. Quite disappointed. There is also this thing in Port Mac where all the prices go up in cafes and restaurant during new years eve and new years day, to my knowledge anyway. Plus 15 – 17 percent added to your total bill in public holiday. If you are to come in port mac, ensure your accommodation that kitchen is included.

Such a shame. The venue is fabulous. Right on the beach and well ventilated. The food was only average and took FOREVER to be served. We were lucky. We only had to wait 30 minutes for deep fried fish and chips. There were people there waiting to order/be served when we got there and they were still waiting when we left. Such a pity because it could be fabulous.

Can’t fault this place. Cleanliness, service, food, coffee, seating, facing the ocean and in a lovely building. We had breakfast there. I had the green brekky bowl and my husband the pancakes. Both meals were presented superbly and both were delicious and full of fresh ingredients. Two days later we went in for coffee and cake. We had the pecan pie. However, this pecan pie came unexpectedly with all the trimmings and it looked and tasted wonderful. As for the cost I honestly thought it very reasonable and not expensive as I noted another review to say. I wish this restaurant was near to where I live. It would put our local ones to shame.

Beautiful location, friendly service. We come in often with a large group for Sunday brunch and are always really well looked after. The food is delicious, and the servings are huge! Small appetites should consider sharing. The big fluffy pancakes are recommended by our youngsters, I would recommend the eggs benedict and the baked eggs.

We expected the prices would be excessive, but we did not expect that the salads we order would not have ingredients mentioned in the menu. The chef even did not bother himself to put the dressing in the salad. Chips serviced without souse. When we pointed on this, the staff even did not apologize. Overall, very unprofessional and disrespectful service based on the policy “Minimum cost, maximum charge.” Recommend to avoid this place.

What a wonderful place. We went there for the first time today and were delighted by the friendliness of the owner. She came and spoke with us a few times and we realised she must be the chef as she was referring to her amazing fruit bread like they were her babies. She had an assortment of fruit breads which were gluten free, perfect for me. My mouth was watering as they were so tasty. We picked two and they were both just delicious. Excellent coffee, great view and 5 out of 5 is well deserved for this lovely little place.

Having been to this cafe several times, I can say that That the only consistent thing is the high prices. You will pay top dollar for everything. Service and food quality vary considerably. Sometimes they care, other times they could not care less. Food is very basic for lunch. The usual fish variety and what else? Chips of course. The view is what draws guests. And many seem satisfied with just that.

Lovely view.. I mean if you don’t get ignored and left at the “wait to be seated” sign for 15 minutes without so much as a glance. When I finally did get the attention of the waitress she was rude so we left… we could understand being busy but we have no time for rude staff at an overpriced cafe.. by the other reviews we dodged the bullet.
