Came here because there was no other cafe around the area. Ordered the lasagna and I was extremely disappointed. Not only is it dry but also tasteless. The service was friendly though (so I added an additional star) but the poor food just not worth visiting again unfortunately.

Tucked away in the top left hand corner of the Bendigo Homemaker Centre in High Street Kangaroo Flat you will find the Rocklea Café. This is where I met up for coffee today. We ordered coffee and something to eat. The coffee was great and the food fresh and delicious. After a comment from us about the excellent coffee, the person who was serving us made mention of how lucky they were to have a Barista that made great coffee topped off by an amazing talent for Latte Art. We agreed. The staff seemed friendly and interactive with us, and with all on their other customers. Well done!

My granddaughter and I shared a delicious lunch today of fritters and hot chips. The meals were well presented and all the staff were lovely to us, came over with the salt shaker when I was looking for one! Great customer service as always guys

Absolutely a hidden gem! The big breakfast is indeed BIG and so is the welcoming environment of this cafe. Clean and inviting with amazing and friendly staff. The coffee is tasty and when you ask for strong you definitely receive it. I would highly recommend this lovely establishment for a quick takeaway and for a sit down meal if you have time.
