Popular Café on Hastings Street. Not too long a wait for a table on the outside area, but does get busy, so be patient. Acai bowl was good & the Croissant with preserves I ordered came out as a toasted ham & cheese Croissant. Fortunately I’m not completely vegetarian. The coffee was good and service was quick. Good menu selection & I thought reasonably priced. Definitely worth a visit.

The staff were friendly enough, however it was the dirtiest hotel room I have ever been in. The floors and kitchen looked like it had never been cleaned. Then there was the shower, water pressure started fine then it completely stopped, yep no water, after turning the taps on and off it eventually came back on..for a short time. That happened daily. The owner got a plumber to look at (which was appreciated) however found no fault.. overall the location is great, however the condition of the room wouldn’t pass a health and safety test, it was disgusting. Book elsewhere.
