Wonderful dining experience last night with lots of positives. The service was attentive and professional from the moment we walked in the door. Our meal was perfectly paced with every dish preceded by an explanation of the ingredients and how it had been prepared. Every morsel was delicious and tasty. The cauliflower was amazing in both texture and flavour. Lovely cocktails to start. Possibly our only criticism would be the relatively small wine list by the glass. Overall a great experience.

The food and drinks were beautiful and we had an overall lovely lunch. The only thing that could have been improved was the service. It wasn’t bad, just a little disappointing. The menu knowledge lacked and they were unable to read when attention was required at the table.

My friends and I would love to thank the kitchen for the fabulous food we had and the wait staff for their service! A special mention to Cameron who went above and beyond on the rooftop bar to provide a quality good time! This Arborist had a lovely evening at the Arborist. Cheers

Our small group enjoyed The Arborist prior to a show at the nearby Arts Centre. Booking was easy with a good range of options for seating and timing. Upon arrival we were quickly ushered to our table and the subsequent service and food was of a great standard – friendly, high quality and good choices that fitted with our timetable. Reasonable range and price of wines complimented the overall impression of a guest focused, thriving restaurant in a vibrant part of town. Thoroughly enjoyable and recommended.

Excellent food and cocktails. They have a nice list of handcrafted cocktails and there go very nicely with the menu. Staff are attentive and friendly. Kitchen seemed small but chef and staff were very efficient in getting the dishes out. We sat right by the kitchen and could barely hear any noises coming out from it. Very professional indeed!

I searched for this restaurant on Google Maps and expected to have a great experience. The restaurant was nice and the staff was friendly, but the food was very interesting. I’m not sure about European tastes but I’m sure this restaurant won’t please any Asians, I couldn’t get over the sweet broccoli and sweet pork. Maybe they hired a British chief to put sugar in every meal. I believe they did torture Italian POWs with British food in World War II.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at the Arborist a few weeks ago. We can’t remember all the dishes, we decided on the ‘feed me’ option. The dishes were all delicious, something different to what we have at home. The service was exceptional, and we enjoyed a chat with our waiter. (especially as I-Sandra worked in the building next door in the late seventies and parked my car close to where we were sitting, it opened up some fun conservation with our waiter) We would be happy to dine there again.

Food was delicious, well priced and came out quickly. The waiter was hard to understand tho it may have been his accent. Otherwise, 10/10

This lovely little venue, carefully nestled in between a cluster of heritage buildings in a thriving entertainment and dining precinct on Little Malop Street, offers a genuinely enjoyable dining experience. The atmosphere is very inviting. The staff are genuinely friendly and attentive, with a comprehensive knowledge of the daily specials and what’s on the menu; able to field almost any customer enquiries before ordering. There are extensive range of truly delicious vegan and vegetarian menu options, to the point that your omnivorous companions might even start to ordering the same. The wine and beer selections are comprehensive, and there are a decent range of cocktails as well. The prices reflect the above-mentioned quality of the experience, so if you do choose to visit, understand that you’re probably going to part with around $80 per person, including one or two drinks along the way. But for what you pay for and what you receive, it’s still great value for money. I can highly recommend this venue. I would argue, it’s one of the nicest dining experiences in Geelong.
