We tried the tofu bento box, with miso. And the vegan bento box. Nicely marinated tofu with a rich, sweet soy sauce, pickled daikon, veggie croquet, gyoza dumplings and steamed rice. The miso soup was superb. Both good dishes. We’ll try the ramen next time.

Their vegan Bento Box is absolutely divine and very reasonably priced (and comes with a free miso soup which is awesome). It’s got the perfect variety of options including the generous rice serving, salad, picked ginger, two veg croquettes, two vegetable gyoza and the mock meat. I’m very eager to return soon to try out their vegan Japanese curry options and one day, the tofu Bento Box!

Visited this place on a Wednesday night for dinner. Reservations were super easy and due to all the hype, my girlfriend and I were really looking forward. Turns out, the store is located in a really bad place and the food isn’t all great. We ordered two ramen, and one was super salty while the other being just mediocre. From the pictures we saw, the place looked really big and authentic, but that was a huge letdown as well. I got some nice photos, but that’s about it. I wouldn’t go again..
