Nice place for a bite to eat, breakfast, morning tea or lunch. Touch crowded inside but adds to atmosphere, lit of seating outside as well. Lovely coffee, cakes and biscuits. Nice staff, friendly and attentive. Got some terrific cheeses, sausage and other delli products.

Peak summer season, lunch on Sunday around 1pm. The burger was nice and so were the fries, 35minute wait time. Challenging to get a table outside but plenty of seating inside (but a little squishy).

Today myself and a girlfriend wandered into The Olive Pit, appalling service, soup came cold with toast! We ordered leek and potato, first sip tasted like pea and ham? strange took it back to the counter and was rudely told that it was the right temperature and oh the potato and leek has bacon in it, what? we are vegetarian. Well she may as well have said bad luck! we don’t have any pumpkin left. Ohhh wow! They then preceeded to take our soups and bought them back at the right temp. Oh well and nothing. So we got up and walked after paying for the soup! Rude, disinterested, no apology, what else can we get you? NOTHING! If I were the owner I would definitely be there on a Sunday.

Busy little lunch spot with great food. Recommend the Pit Burger & steak sandwich. Love the happy friendly service and it’s a butcher as well.

Visited for lunch today on busy Easter Saturday. Service was kind, friendly and efficient. The food was absolutely delicious. The beef burger was so incredibly tasty and the fried chicken was juicy and crisp. We enjoyed some local beers as well. Will definitely back to try out the lovely looking cheeses and meats.
