Versatile menu, food has usually been good & all round has been ok value for money, however prices have steadily risen (understandably). I’ve also found there now are some items that suffer in the ‘freshness’ department. The scallops in my ‘hangover’ burger were over oiled as if they were double fried or had been sitting there for a while & the beef patties didn’t taste fresh like they have in the past.

Bought one roast chicken and seafood salad ,COST $ 35.09 there is now a 10% surcharge on weekends. Guess that is the end of my buying out. Generally they have good stuff. But,to slug customers with this hike in price is a bit unfair.

The old owners were good and the food was great. However with the new owners I been here twice since and can’t say the food is great anymore. U can tell that they change the oil about once a week cause the chips come out brown. (Sign of old oil being used). And when there cooking on the grill the temperature is to high when there cooking cause everything on the burger that is cooked is a bit charcoal on the outer but cooked nice in the middle. E.g. beacon, beef patty and onion. They need to turn it down just a tad.

Food is hit and miss. When it’s a hit, it’s great, when it’s a miss, its inedible! They use WAY TOO MUCH chicken salt. When you can’t see the chip, it’s too much chicken salt!

I brought a burger meal for $15.90 which consists of burger chips and a can of drink, to expensive, the burger alone costs $8.70 and if you want the burger meal with chips and drink, it will cost you an extra $9.20. Yes that’s right $9.20 for a hand full of chips and a 375ml can of drink. This alone cost more than the burger.The burger was cold, meat patty was dry and would not go there and eat again, I can get an ultimate meal at KFC which consists of chips, potato and gravy, a piece of chicken and a fillet burger for $11.45. This place is over priced and over rated.

You’re opinion can be subjective, but mostly every Saturday night for dinner i order the kids burger with chips and gravy and the potato scallop, and it is DELIGHTFUL, to say the least. The service, as i have seen has been adequate enough though they have messed up my order once or twice, but that was quite easy too resolve. They give you a lot of bang for your buck! And they give you very large portions of food, i mean a small chips is equivalent to a medium, or even a large at some other places, but i do think they should vary the size in which gravy comes.. no normal person can eat that much gravy. So i give this place a 5 star review, in my opinion it is quite good.

The best potato scallops for 30 years. I can only compare this eating experience to Expo 1988 Brisbane, the calamari on South Bank “was out of this world”. I always use this as my benchmark for Quality Freshness Taste and Value for money. We will return soon to sample more of this menu. Stay Tuned.

First time and last time customer unfortunately. Ordered a grilled fish and chips. The fish was dry and tasted very fishy( yes I know its fish) but the fish taste shouldn’t knock you out.
