We had our lovely brekkie at this humble little cafe. Simply delicious, nice and value for money. Didn’t have to wait long for the food to arrive. We ordered mulberry jam pancakes and one of Sim’r Specials: Dukkah eggs with hummus, fig & fennel sourdough, beetroot chutney & rocket leave salad.

We drove up from Melbourne today and decided to drop in to Sim’r. We were so impressed by the service, as well as the quality of food and coffee and the taste of both. I ordered the pancakes and WOW…the best pancakes I’ve had in years (possibly even of all time). It was also great to see they have an excellent Covid safety plan still in operation when some of the cafes back in Melbourne are becoming complacent. This is the kind of cafe that should benefit from Google reviews allowing a much higher star rating as 5 stars simply is not enough. Thank you Sim’r staff.

Good to see a cafe open before 7:00am ~ however, the gentleman that served addressed me as “mate”; which is irksome at the best of times. The black coffee was drinkable but slightly too bitter to warrant a return visit. The blueberry muffin was good but spoiled by icing sugar sprinkled on top ~ why do they do that?
