Stopped in for breakfast. Coffee and chai were very good. The smoked salmon and zucchini fritters were absolutely delicious and so was the ham and cheese croissant. The homemade croissant was incredibly flaky and buttery which made it extra special. We loved the pastries so took a few for the road. The Portuguese tarts and almond croissants were outstanding. Service was great and the deli attached means you can grab some more goodies to take home too. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Food is amazing! Had dinner and dessert, all dishes were of the highest standard, what you would expect from a high end restaurant. Definitely try the Duck Croquettas, the Rotisserie Chicken, the Eton Mess was awesome to.

We were quickly ushered out of the shop on account of wanting coffees and cake. We promptly told this was a restaurant and we were expected to order breakfast. This was rather confusing as the cakes looked gorgeous.

Was reccomended by a business to eat and have a coffee here, as travelled far for business. Upon entering and ordering a refreshment, I wandered through to take in the products on display and decided to eat lunch. Was rudely told to wait in another area, in the deli. Was promptly ushered out.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of visiting the Harvest Food and Wine Store, and I must say it was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the appalling customer service to the complete disregard for basic hospitality, my visit to this establishment left me thoroughly irritated and dissatisfied.

I guess from the reviews, people want this to be a cafe, it is in fact a restaurant. You wouldn’t go into Masons or The Woodhouse to order a coffee and sit around to chat… However, the place is set up to look and feel like a cafe… bizarre.

Four of us drove from Melbourne to visit Bendigo. We arrived at 1030 looking for a warm place to have coffee and cake. Despite many spare tables, the staff at HF&W refused to serve us unless we ordered a full meal! The Gallery was welcoming, so we had morning tea there spending $48. After exploring the Gallery exhibition, we found a wonderful restaurant close by for lunch. We would have returned to Harvest, but the earlier interaction wasn’t well received. Strange way to treat prospective customers. Disappointing.

You won’t have a bad experience, maybe just not the best.

The service was horrible they literally said to customers to leave the cafe and wait for the takeaway outside. They did not take us seriously, and would not let us, paying customers, to sit down on their tables to wait, even though they had no customers, and it wasn’t busy.
