We had dinner at Republique last night and the whole experience was fantastic. All the dishes were delicious, I think we pretty much had one of everything on the menu. The Local Squid dish was my favourite.

Gorgeous French bistro – a hidden gem! The wine list is outstanding and the owners are passionate about what they do, and equally knowledgeable about their wine list. They source good quality, seasonal ingredients for their menu. Their passion is evident in their product and their service. Highly recommend!

What a great meal. What great hosts. Hats off to Nedene and Scott for their excursion into culinary greatness. I’ve never had better Steak Fritters anywhere. I’ve never enjoyed fresher tastier succulent mussels anywhere and the creme brulee was a holy experience. Long may they prosper. Do yourselves a favour of travelling through Batemans Bay. Dinner here was absolutely perfect! Scott took such good care of us, suggesting wine that went well with all the dishes. Some standouts were the warm potted prawns with confit garlic and prawn chips. Also the barramundi tartare and the chicken liver pate were absolutely delicious. It’s the ideal place if you want a special experience. The atmosphere is sophisticated but laid back. Thank you all for everything, we had such a great time.

AMAZING food and service. I couldn’t speak more highly of the food! The waiter knew the menu like the back of his hand and was able to answer any questions we had, food came out at perfect times, not once were we left with an empty glass. Very accommodating restaurant, 100% will be back

Highly recommended spot for foodies / gourmands! Chef has an impressive CV including a stint at one of our favourites – Bistro Moncur in Woolahra (they even serve the steak frites with the cafe de paris butter). Owners are really knowledgeable and lots of fun. Wine list is extensive and well curated but best of all there is a broad selection of really interesting Belgium and German beers, which you’ll never find down here. Top place, loved it.

Ahhhmazing! The duck was the best meal i have had in my life, and i have been to some nice resturants. Great portion size, knowledge of food, decor and service. Prices are a bit high but worth it for the quality of everything, i had trouble picking a meal because they all sounded delish 110/10 Thankyou
