I was about to take a star off because they don’t let you take away the dessert. We’re very happy with the dinner, but also satisfied, and we wanted to try the dessert, so we would like to take the dessert back with us and they informed this is not allowed.

A really lovely dinner spot if you’re at the Bay and would like something a little more sophisticated. The menu was interesting and had lots of great options (we enjoyed the pork schnitzel and the ricotta gnocchi, then a creme brûlée to finish). There was quite a large group the night we visited, but the staff made sure not to forget about us!

Please don’t eat here . We were told this was fine dining. The food took forever. The burger wasn’t even on par with a Macdonalds Big Mac.. my husbands fish was cold and soggy. The prices are up there with a fine dinning experience however the food was far from that

After a full day of activity, made a booking at Briars for dinner. The staff were attentive and demonstrated knowledge of menu and relevant ingredients. Menu is compact but covers a good selection – food quality was spot on. Shared a number of small plates which were flavourful, desserts were delightful. Happy to recommend a visit to Briars. Thank you to the staff, both front and back, thoroughly enjoyed my visit.
