Love this place! The service is excellent as the guy taking our order is super friendly and lovely! The food is amazing too – we had mixed grill, different types of seafood mixed together! I also tried the redfern special – double patty burger – it’s so filling and the BBQ sauce is bussin! Super affordable too! Will come back again!

Best fish and chips around the Redfern area. You can choose the type of seafood (Barramundi, Hake, Salmon, Dory, prawn, calamari, etc.) and how to cook it (beer batter, crumb or grill); all are good. Big-cut fried calamari and crumbed Hake is my favorite. Reasonable price, friendly staff and quick service. I always eat here every week. Highly recommend.

I am shocked by the reviews this place gets. Probably the worse fish and chips I have had in Sydney. The fish and batter seems ultra processed, more like the batter you’d expect on frozen fish from a supermarket Note – this was ordered on Uber Eats so who knows where it came from.

My wife and I recently discovered this fish and chip shop and the food is beautiful, the hamburgers are magnificent and the chips are beautiful fresh cut chips not this frozen rubbish that most places deal out to you, and there potato scollops are big and beautiful the food is so good there. I complemented the owner last week because his hamburgers are the best I’ve ever had. I can not recommend this fish and chip shop more highly. Beautiful food

Thoroughly enjoyed my take out here. The owner of the store is super friendly and nice, wanted to give him a shout-out. Love the calamari, was thick and had fantastic texture to it. The fish was good, maybe a little over cooked for my liking (especially the salmon). The other highlights were the potato cake and the Greek salad; highly recommend that as a side but wished it was packaged by itself and not with the fish & chips.

Quick lunch or snacks for the day. Very friendly service and generous portions. Giant piece of calamari ring and tasty fish cocktail – battered fish burger is also nice and tasty. Just ring or email what you want, and your order will be ready when you get to the shop.

I had been curious about this fish and chip shop for a long time, hoping to try it out someday. Unfortunately, when I finally ordered the standard fish and chips, I was very dissatisfied. The fish was either stale or rotten, with a horrible taste. The chips were soft and dry, with a bright yellow color that suggested old oil. I could not finish my meal and felt like I threw away my money. The only positive thing I can say is that the staff were very friendly and polite, and that the meal was cheap. However, that does not make up for the poor quality of the food.

Look at the beautiful fish and chips. I would give more stars but there are no more stars to give. Phenomenal flavour, the batter on the fish was golden and crispy and the fish inside was deliciously light and flakey. The portion sizes are extremely generous and you can self serve salt and vinegar to your taste. This place is going to be a local favourite for years to come.
