Great country pub. Tried a few starters and pizzas from the menu. All were good value for money and delicious! Great atmosphere and service. Nice comfortable rooms available if you need a place to stay the night. Will definitely be going back again.

Awesome little country pub with a great atmosphere . The new owner’s were very friendly and accommodating and the staff were outstanding . The service was fantastic , we had one of the best pizza’s I’ve had in a long time and the reef and beef was cooked exactly how I requested. Great place to take the family and we’ll definitely be back next time we’re passing through .

Unfortunately each time we’ve ordered take away or had a dine in experience, our food was disappointing. We found it was bland, small proportion sizes for the price and generally takes 1.5hrs for two meals even when not busy. Our take away orders have always been incorrect regardless of how many times we check to ensure they have the right order.

Waited over an hour for expensive seafood dishes. Fish was burnt on outside mushing inside. calamari under cooked was supposed to have scallops. None on the plate.

Food was bland and tasteless. I had the “special” of cider chicken pot pie with no cider or any other flavour. The so-called pot pie was a thin lid of puff pastry n with chicken soup in the ramekin. No colour/vegetables in “pie”. Store bought chips were soggy. Had to ask for tomato sauce to have a modicum of any flavour. Best part of the meal was the Guinness which they couldn’t mess up.
