This beautiful place is the best. The chefs and staff are a credit to this place. I have celebrated my 5th wedding anniversary here and other special occasions in this beautiful place. I’m recommending this spectacular place to all my friends and family. The food is amazingly made and the drinks. Everything is made with love. I can’t wait to be back at this wonderful place again. Perfect spot, but the lady who owns the place needs to move on and let someone take over. It is in a perfect position and has so much potential. We went there once and the food was great, but we were the only people there. 100 seats and totally empty. There is plenty of parking opposite. I suggest ring up first to see if she has opened it for dining because you sometimes see a dodgee closed sign at the front entrance.

Had coffee and scones, no gluten free at all for Coeliacs. Place looks like it needs a major overhaul, decidedly old and very tired looking. Couldn’t find entrance as it is not marked. Bit of a passage area next to house. Is an OHS nightmare…broken bitumen all the way in with some potholes…could easily twist an ankle! Scones were served on a cracked broken plate..could not believe what I was seeing! Very old fashioned setup all round! View from seating area was lovely…overlooking the ocean and the garden was quite pretty! Service from young waitress was pleasant and fast.

Really beautiful scenic – perfect spot to see the sun go down, garden is magical too. Loved the food steak w veg best I’ve had in the bay, same with the delish oysters too! Highly recommend to anyone.

This place has the potential to be the best place to dine in Hervey Bay..the view is spectacular and the staff very friendly…but they need to find another chef unfortunately as the food is very ordinary and over priced. This is quite a quirky place, with plenty of character and nice secluded areas to dine in the gardens overlooking the ocean..however it could do with a bit of TLC as it’s starting to look a bit old and tired. If this place was run the right way, they could make a killing as the view and grounds are by far the best location on the Fraser Coast. We will be back, but only for coffee or a quick drink . I hope that management read this, as I have heard from several people that they won’t go back because of the quality of the food…such a shame.

I’ve been here two times now, the first being in 2012 which my partner and I had a great time at. This time however was not so good. The only great thing we ate was the entre which as the garlic bread. The seafood basket left me very disappointed. Firstly, all the seafood seemed to be cooked in the same pan, with the same salty seasoning. Not very enjoyable at all… This type of cooking was lazy considering there were only four people in the restaurant at the time. The service was nice enough and the location makes up for the disappointing food, but the cost of the meals leaves you thinking that you should have searched Google longer for another restaurant. I hope they pick up their game, it’s a shame when complacency sets in at such a beautiful and long running establishment.
