Shocking, I wasn’t going to put in a review, because I can’t think of anything nice to say..( I always try to find a positive), so here goes. We called in our way back from Melbourne, thought we would get a roast meal with some vegies.. nope none.. asked for a burger combo, told no that burger not in combo, yet it was on the board.. anyway we both got the same order.. 2x chicken tenders in a roll that, were cold… the chips had been reheated (I worked in a hot food van) we thought about complaining to staff, but they were so busy talking about whatever.. there were crumbs on dining areas, floor needed sweeping, and these ladies??? were just standing there talking, also looking very unkempt. .the biggest joke of it all? there was a sign saying that they were hiring!!! was that to replace the slovenly ones? or to add to them… Management! please either check your cameras and watch your staff, or go in undercover… you would be disgusted.. Our visit was 18th July approx 4.50pm – 5.00pm. We sat in and dined ( if you call it that)

I ordered their roast chicken and potatos and peas. It was good. They lost a star cos on the menu it says $11.99 or something but they charged me $14.94. I did not know if I ordered extra cos it was the same food I got on the menu!

I was coming back in the evening from the Great Ocean Road. Stopped in Colac for dinner and decided to try Red Rooster as I heard it was good. I love it! The chicken was so juicy and tender. The chips were a little salty but its fine. Love the gravy as well. Kind of reminds me of Jollibee from the Philippines. Why can’t we have this in Singapore too?

Only my second trip to Red Rooster ever but both have been a great experience! Essentially succulent chicken with delicious fries. I hope all RRs are as good and it will soon be my takeaway of choice. Excellent friendly service and clean tables keep up the good work
