We had visited the sister restaurant to this over at Southgate and had a very pleasant experience, so expectations were high. This location had not been open very long when we visited and while some of the staff seemed a little inexperienced, they were very pleasant and enthusiastic.

Me and my family spent our CNY eve dinner here this year, as last year we had it in Southgate. This branch is relatively new, which is 14 months since the opening. This branch is not as spacious and has got no view. However, the food quality is the same.

the food was amazing! Me, my mum and my brother each thought the food was great. The staff that served us dinner were friendly and it really felt like an amazing dining experience. The small cookies we got served at the end tasted like something Grandma would make you as a treat. The entree we had was delicious too. It was a bit pricey, but I didn’t pay so I can’t really say much about that. Thank you so much for the amazing time. (I am the young person that said I would make a review, Thanks for the dinner) (and Ignore my name)

All the yum cha dishes were nice and the staff members were very attentive. Their decor looked new and refreshed. Nice! Only one thing is that there’s no atmosphere and it felt nearly boring… but we were happy over all.

I’m enthusiastic when it comes to Chinese food. The Red Emperor in the heart of Chinatown is a little more up market than similar popular eateries nearby, but the food is plentiful, servings hearty and staff very attentive. Try the Mandarin Chicken! Thanks to William and Anthony for great service

We had the $60/person All You Can Eat Yum Cha and it was great! The service was good, staff were courteous and polite. The food was delicious and flavourful. We especially liked the steamed pork ribs 排骨 and tofu custard 豆腐花. Will definitely be back!

Red Emperor has recently opened their second store in Chinatown (where the old Shark Fin House used to be). We’ve had good experiences at their original Southbank venue so we were excited to give their new restaurant a go!
