This place has amazing flavours and food. This little gem is tucked away from the beach side of the highway. The service is great, food is fresh and flavoursome and a large selection of drinks. My wife I really enjoyed every meal we selected of the menu. Price is really reasonable for the quality meals you get. Definitely a place to checkout if all the popular spots are booked out or need a last minute place to go out for.

The food was absolutely amazing, especially the miso soup and glazed teriyaki salmon!! There were a few mistakes that interrupted the dining but not bad enough for us to care and nothing the staff didn’t immediately fix and apologise for. Overall, awesome food and awesome staff!

What a neighbourhood gem. Located in Markeri Food in Mermaid Waters, this Japanese Restaurant has a lot going for it. From the well appointed decor to the friendly, courteous and efficient staff this place rates very highly. And, as for the food. Beautifully prepared and presented Project Tokyo is well worth tracking down if you enjo light and flavoursome Japanese cuisine. Top marks to everyone involved.

This place has changed hands. It use to be a 5 star place with the most delicious food, now it is a typical middle range Japanese restaurant at best, food you’d get at a Sushi Train. They don’t even use real Japanese Mayo, it tasted like Praise Mayo so gross. I wouldn’t go back. Very ordinary.

Lovely place and friendly staff. We got the banquet which had so much food and bang for buck. Everything was delicious and flavours complimented each other well. The wagyu beef were a bit too beefy and chewy and seared tuna sashimi was also a bit chewy and salty. Overall great experience
