We decided to go out for lunch today & thought we haven’t been to the Golf club for a while. Don’t think we’ll be rushing back unfortunately. I had sweet & sour chicken on fried rice. The chicken was in the thickest batter & awful. The rice was swimming in sauce & was soggy. It was just not appealing to the eye or to eat. My partner had fish n chips, which was average. Once again very thick batter. Dessert was pavlova, which was actually nice. My partner had choc brownie with ice cream. Honestly he ate it in 2 bites, it was soo small.

Really great to have a wonderful place to dine without having to go all the way into town from the North Geelong side. I hope I remembered her name correctly – we had outstanding service from the lovely Suzie (22nd May dinner service). Refreshing to see someone actually engaging with customers and being proactive in their job. Food was beautifully presented and delicious and that includes coffee and dessert. Super nice atmosphere and interior and love that the main dining area is carpeted so the usual restaurant sounds are more subdued. Have every reason to return!

We had our daughter’s birthday party at their marquee. Francesca and other staff were all wonderful to work with, responsive, accommodating, and professional! Their marquee is a beautiful space for a private function.

Wednesday’s steak special is fantastic ! Great piece of steak served with Chips and salad. Even better kids eat a 2 course meal for FREE between 530 and 630pm each night! Family friendly.
