I wish I could give this place zero stars… The older lady on the till needs to hurry up and retire as she obviously hates her job. She was extremely rude when taking our order. My boyfriend asked for extra salt and vinegar and she rolled her eyes as she wrote it down. I asked for an extra piece of lemon with mine to which she replied that it already came with lemon, I asked if I could please have two pieces of lemon – Another eye roll. We then waited over an hour for our two large servings of snapper and chips (one was grilled). We only had one small piece of fish each, nothing had any salt or vinegar on it, there was one piece of lemon between us and the chips were clearly frozen chips from a bag! I can’t believe we paid $32 for that. If we hadn’t of left the area then I would have taken it back and asked for a full refund. Wouldn’t have minded the lady’s horrible customer service or the long wait if the food had been amazing but I honestly can’t decide what was worst… Her or the food.

Went today after doing day trip to Mandurah and seeing good reviews. The staff were super friendly and chatty. We all had the battered snapper but it was dry and tough and smelled a little fishy. The batter was ok, not too thick or oily. The chips were yummy. I showed the fish to the owner and she offered to cook another but I declined. Maybe the snapper is the problem so try another type of fish?

Wow! Grilled fish, battered fish, pineapple fritter— all so so good! Grilled fish was awesome. And batter on the snapper wasn’t too greasy. Was so delicious looking we tucked straight in and forgot a photo, so here’s proof of the aftermath! Thanks MFFC!

Great size servings for the $$$. The service was quick but the meal was average. Batter wasn’t nice at all, the fish was so dry and the squid rings left a lot to be desired. Potato scallops were the same as well.( Chips were great though!) Unfortunately, the four of us that ate it, ended up with stomach aches and the runs later in the evening. not sure if it was the fish, the oil or the batter. Wont be ordering from there again.

The nicest fish and chips and seafood we have had in a long time if not ever. Cooked perfectly and so tasty. Squid rings, battered prawns, Dim Sims, snapper and chips all cooked perfectly, not oily, not overcooked and crispy. Could not fault the quality of the food or the first class service. We were quite difficult customers as we wanted the family feast for 4 but wanted to change and add things. Nothing was too much trouble for the very helpful man and lady behind the counter and they were more than happy to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. It was ready in less than 15min and was not only delicious but great value as well. We even had a beautiful spot across the road on Mandurah foreshore to enjoy their beautiful seafood. Highly recommend this wonderful establishment. Keep up your great work. Photos of their menu attached.

1hr 20min long wait with a forced apology and attitude. Food was meh at best. All clumped together and snapper was dry and overcooked. My wife hated it and she has low standards. Just look at me.
