Parlour is a must to try in Canberra. Amazing food and worth the price. Menu is planned for individual plates however you can definitely make it a share plate experience. Recommend the eggplant dish!! Also has great happy hour prices for cocktails

Great service and fitout. Went off peak. Food was pleasant but left a little to be desired. Portobello burger with fries was a generous portion but it wasn’t juicy or succulent as a burger ought to be. The eggplant had a nice crisp to it but I left wondering about the couscous underneath the eggplant which was only dressed with the same balsamic finish as you see on the eggplant. Not sure it added value to the dish. Great fresh juice though with a twist of honey.

Had a lovely dinner here with friends. The food was delicious and well portioned. The setting is gorgeous, i personally loved the decor and lighting. Parlour is such a beautiful venue, with so much Canberra history in this building. The staff are so polite and thoughtful. Highly recommended.

Beautiful restaurant with a lovely selection of wine and food. I LOVED the chat potatoes, and could literally eat just that on repeat – so YUMMY! The staff were all lovely and looked after us with great care. Will definitely be back.

The style of Parlour is lovely , with the right music playing and it was nice to hear about its history. Service was very attentive, although a bit more could have been said about the menu. . I did feel the selection was lacking a bit. Although my boys liked the chicken burger , my fish was pretty ordinary. I wasn’t really advised that it came with nothing else but the fish on the plate. Wine etc list was very thorough though so I feel it’s more of a beautiful place for a nice drink and a light plate :). We would still visit again as we had a good time.

A sophisticated restaurant with french style indoor decor, a central bar with seating and a more casual outdoor dining area. There are a few cozy nooks for enjoying a drink with friends and tasteful background music does not drown out the conversation. Overall a very pleasant ambiance and equally pleasant staff. The menu is modern cuisine with ‘share plate’ dishes recommended. We particularly enjoyed the main chicken and barramundi dishes. You might need to ask for serving utensils for shared plates. They have a good selection of wines and cocktails that are a little pricey so be aware. 4.5+⭐️
