Friday night dinner was amazing. Live music inside. Heaters on outside, overlooking the water. We had a pram and the lady working was very helpful finding us a comfortable table.

Previously Known as the Oyster Bar I was never a great fan of this place which unless you lived for Oysters didn’t have much else to offer. However just visited for the first time under new management and the now Oysterbedz has a greatly improved menu which includes among other things, steak over mash which was very good and I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived cooked medium rare as ordered. Canned cider was nice albeit a draught option would be appreciated. My partner had a cocktail which apparently was very good. All in all a good evening and we’ll be back. Well done guys.

Good food had a tasting of all the fresh and had the blue cheese was pretty good, flavours worked well together, staff were super friendly and fit the vibe well. Steak was good for people who don’t like oysters.

We had an amazing oyster. My favorite’s are Japanese and Kilpatrick. Thai taste not good because they put too much Fried Shallot alot instead of tomyum itself. The price is affordable.

The wife and I had the seafood platter today, the oysters were nice, octopus was nice, mussels were ok, salmon was meh and the prawns were poor, very poor, for $68 it should be better. Our daughter had six prawns and salad for $32!!!

Had lunch on Thursday 31/08 with my family and we were served by Christine, the ONLY staff member on the day. She efficiently worked the bar, the food till, brought out all meals, cleared and cleaned tables. Christine has a great personality for hospitality and nothing was too difficult despite the venue being quite busy with most outdoor tables full. The food was great and came out hot, and we never had to wait long for food or service despite one staff member attending everyone. I hope Christine enjoys the flower we bought her and also hope she gets PAID $$ what an asset to the business. Our experience especially stands out after a disastrous lunch at the Red Manna the day before with two staff serving only six tables. We’ll be back at Oyster Beds soon.

The oysters were fresh and delicious. The aracini was crisp on the outside and tasty in the middle. I enjoyed it very much. Its nice to be able to take well behaved dogs along too. My Millie and Molly loved the attention.
