During lunchtime, this is not a regular pub, more like a high end cafe. Meals are well priced and the service was equal to any 5 star hotel. Food was very fresh and light. Perfect for families during lunch. Absolutely recommend for a meal and drink.

Incredible food! We were blown away by this little pub. Better food and service than some of the luxury restaurants. I had arguably one of the best scotch fillet steaks of my life. Definitely coming back.

Been here a few times now for lunch and they consistently serve good pub food at competitive city prices. I had the chicken schnitzel this time and although I was disappointed they don’t provide the option of vegetables, unless you pay extra, I didn’t mind settling for chips and salad and it was a nice schnitzel. I’ll be going back again in future.

Food wasn’t bad but the kitchen was closing up just after 7pm on a Thursday night which seemed really strange. By the time 7:30pm came around, lights were being turned off and the bar appeared to be on its way to closing. Just not a good dinner atmosphere especially compared to Hobart’s many other outstanding pubs

What a top experience from start to finish. We were greeted warmly by a friendly waitress and seated at a nice table. I had the Shanks and my meat was soft and tender. My mate had the Steak and even though my meal was delicious, I still had a bit of food envy it was epic. We got the Garlic Bread to start and it was so good that a couple of tables around us ordered it too. Well priced, great service, excellent atmosphere – we’ll be back! #ricksreviews
