Super yummy. Recommend this restaurant. 100/10. So slay. The veg mono platter was outstandingly tasty and so was the veg chow mein. Very good service and nice atmosphere and Nepalese vibe. Love the interior design. Overall 10/10 don’t listen to any other rating than 5 star they are all wrong.

Super friendly, great menu (authentic) & Excellent varieties of beer on tap – recommend the buffalo with the “proper” spices & the chicken buryani.

Was in Hobart for a few days and stopped at this place for a bite thinking it was a normal hotel. Turned out to be one of the best finds on our trip. The food here was way better than I expected. The best food I had while visiting Hobart. All delivered by friendly staff and good service. Would recommend to anyone looking for something different. If there was a 6th star available this place would get it.

We decided to try this relatively new Nepalese restaurant for lunch today, not the best experience, staff were pleasant but service was slow, several tables being serviced by one person… eventually our food arrived which was nothing special, the goat meat type kebabs were so tough. My view is that the Chowk is going to struggle in this huge building, lacking atmosphere and importantly a menu of delicious authentic food. I wish them well.

I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the food. The standout dishes for me were the Goat Bhutan and the Chabahil Ko Chicken Chilli.

Did not meet out expectations. Food was nice like Goat meat and fried intestine. Not much variety of foods as expected. It obvious cause it is a pub but we did not get pub vibes but yeah we can feel home once we get there. Nice decos. We found different taste in food on different time of event, may be cause of rotating chef. Hope pub may have consistent taste. Brothers and sisters are friendly and always giving their best for hospitality. I felt good while a Nepalese business adapting Australian culture.

Australia’s first ever Nepalese pub. Only open for a year it is an excellent introduction to Nepali beers and food. The momo tasting platter was excellent, the staff friendly and a great choice of dishes from across Nepal from Mustang to Bhaktapur, Sauraha (Chitwan) and even Bhutan. I highly recommend trying the imported beers which are excellent.

Two very different experiences on my visit here (so changingbthis review). One was pleasant with vibrant crowd, good food and service while the other was disappointing with loud music, soggy- spicy food. Would like to see some consistency in food quality (see momo pic for comparision). Decent place to hang out with friends.
