Went to Northerlies on a recent trip to Airlie Beach. Our party ordered lunch, and by most accounts it was enjoyed. Our son had the chicken burger and he loved it. My wife and I shared oysters Kirkpatrick which were nice, and shared a steak which sadly was very over cooked. Ordered medium-rare but was more towards medium-well. Didn’t ask for another as wife was hungry and it took a while for food to come out to start with. Other than that we had a great time, Awesome views, was a quiet day….waited a while for the free bus to head in for pick up, but again guessing because it was quiet only the small one was running. Still would recommend.

We ordered a seafood platter including chips and toasted bread, calamari and a cocktail. Seafood is fresh, calamari and chips are crunchy and delicious. A bit rainy today but the stunning ocean view wasn’t reduced a little. Plus the restaurant offers door to door courtesy bus. We were very much enjoyed our lunch at Northerlies. Thank you the lady courtesy bus driver and staff of the restaurant.

Amazing steak sandwich with some of the best fries ever. Unfortunately the coffee wasn’t amazing as it was a bit cold and it tasted like the jug had been used for a nut milk before it was used for my normal person cow juice. Apart from that the views are amazing and would definitely recommend the steak sandwich.

Beautiful location and setting. Very welcoming and nice staff. Good food at reasonable prices. Good live music performed by a solo male singer in a Monday afternoon, outdoor, when we were there. A perfectly enjoyable afternoon. Thanks to everyone there.

Picked up by courtesy bus on time, great driver by the name of Brian. Get to Northerlies, which is a long way from anywhere, greeted at the door by a pleasant young lady. Had to get our own menu. Ordered at the counter and served by a robotic young lady. Then went to the bar and got served by some adult packed into a 12 year olds body who had no personal skills and definitely no manners. When the food was brought to our table it felt as though she didn’t really care and dumped them on the table and left. Only saw one other staff member that looked happy. Due to the funeral like atmosphere, I wasn’t prepared to stay any longer than I had to. Food was awesome and reasonably priced.
