I celebrated my bday here last night with my kids. The food was just awesome and the lady who served us was so courteous and friendly. Their Pan fried Gyoza are just out of the world.. They are a must try.

The food was great, the service was good. Loved the eggplant dish (nasu dengaku), the egg (tamago) soup and the Japanese cake. The vege rolls (part of vege bento) were great too! Lots of vegetarian options. Didn’t have the best experience with the lady at the counter, otherwise would have given 5 stars. Wish there was a 4.5 stars option. 🙂

Hidden suburban gem that’s been there since 1987. Straightforward authentic Japanese, no steps to update cooking style and they do this very well. Very well priced including drinks list, Sapporo for $6! No split bills though
