I don’t usually have high expectations for modern/fusion Japanese food but was amazed by everything we are at Mr Ryu! There are plenty of vegan options too which is a huge plus. The only little issue we had was that we were overcharged a few dollars for a drink (whisky sour at happy hour was charged $22, but it’s $19 regular price on the drinks menu). We’ll definitely return and try more dishes next time.

Small Japanese restaurant with bar seating downstairs and table service upstairs. Because the space is small, the wood decor made it feel homey and intimate. We ordered a number of dishes and most of them are great. Would definitely recommend the fried chicken and the soba salad. Service was lovely and fairly quick as well.
