We went for a last minute dinner date last night and had booked a table in advance. We were seated at towards the back of the restaurant which provided a nice atmosphere. We had the wagyu gyoza to start then shared a Nobi Yakiniku Set – the cuts were beautifully presented, we were advised 10sec-12sec sear on each side and the meat was almost melting. All in all, it was everything we were looking for in a quick, filling, Yakiniku date night.

I have been to a few of these places in Japan and Melbourne. The cuts of meat were excellent, excellent quality meat and very happy with the taste. Hidden away off the main roads but definitely worth visiting. They even prepared a cute little desert for mums birthday . Thank you to the restaurant staff who were very nice and helpful. Just wish the cooking was over charcoal!!!

Wow – tonight we dined on the most rich and luscious beef, amazing! The marbled cuts sizzled beautifully in front of us and we quickly filled ourselves with fine cuts.

Incredible Japanese bbq hidden between Yarra st and Claremont st in South Yarra. They accommodated our last minute booking with courtesy for which we were grateful. The service was incredible, and the food was better than we had at a five star rated restaurant in Tokyo! I believe we ordered the chef’s special plus a vegetable platter. Worth every cent!

Very nice wagyu and drinks. Love the Yuzu sake and Lychee cider. But the Oden wasn’t as I expected, didn’t have radish. Overall very nice
