Normally this McDonalds has pretty good service but oh my god I ordered a coke no sugar and a garden salad because I was feeling fat and I LITERALLY got a box of hard lettuce which looks suspiciously like cabbage, ONE slice of tomato and a single shred of purple onion which I think ended up in there by accident! I nearly cried when I opened that, like you couldn’t even give me ONE of those ripe juicy cherry tomatoes in the photo?! DO BETTER PLEASE!

My daughter and I were helped by the lovely young manager Caddy(?) last night. He was extremely patient, helpful and polite when our app wasn’t working. This young man should be more than a store management – he is the kind of person you would definitely want as a leader and the face of any business. Went there through drive thru for dinner tonight when my hubby gave me my meal the chips were cold (we live 2 minutes away so they should have still been hot) but the worst thing was that my daughter and I got vanilla thick shakes that tasted like mould and the milk was sour and frothy. I called the store and was told to bring them back to get others which I did. I was told by the manager that these new ones were from a different machine and they would be fine as she had just had one from the machine herself but when we tasted them they were mouldy too. Truly disgusted that we’ve twice been given mouldy thick shakes and more confused as how the manager said she had one herself and didn’t taste it. If I could rate no stars I would one star is too much for the meals we were served tonight.

Used to be a fairly decent maccas. But recently, every coffee I have ordered is half filled with froth and burnt. The worst thing however, is that somehow all of their toasties have a faint fishy smell and are rarely toasted properly. I used to work for Wallsend mcdonald’s, and could not even think of something to explain the terrible quality that the Glendale store provides. Do they not follow any hygiene procedures? Have cockroaches infested the toasters to the point of no return and they’re just serving us forbidden extra protein? That forbidden protein would surely explain the black coating that is always present on the untoasted sour dough. Excuse my creativity, I genuinely am disappointed with how far the store has gone downhill. My final complaint, when I add salt and pepper to my toastie, PLEASE train staff to not dump each packet entirely in the middle of the toastie. This really does not pair well with the fishy smell and simply reminds me of a salty ocean that cannot be remedied by burnt coffees.

Ordered a Mac spicy burger, one in a meal and one by itself. The chicken spicy in the burger were over fried and extreme hard. No value for money! People are paying for their food so it’s your duty of care to provide them with the rightly cooked food!

We got breakfast on Sunday morning, a treat we normally reserve for someone’s birthday. The hotcakes were good, but my husband and I got McMuffins, which looked like a bite was taken out of them but was more likely just squished before cooking. And the muffins were also way over cooked. So hard to bite into. I think the coffee machine needs a good clean out too, or the coffee or milk was burnt, weird taste to it. Really disappointed our rare treat was ruined.

Now I have had a vendetta with this McDonald’s since around 2019 and they have continued to mess up every meal I’ve gotten since then and we’re completely unapologetic about messing up my order and essentially blaming me for it.
