The food was excellent, but it’s a shame I can’t say the same about the service, which was apathetic at best. Would have loved to try the desserts and coffees, but as no one wanted to take our order or offer us a menu, we left without finding out if they were up to the standard of the entree and mains.

Very pleasantly surprised. Great views over the golf course, smart looking restaurant adjacent to the club house with a decent menu & drinks list. Three of us had the veal saltimbocca and thought the food was excellent and very well presented. The service was also very good although it wasn’t overly busy but everything worked well and we would come back.

Can’t comment on the atmosphere or service because we booked online for 7:30 and and we were told not to show up because the kitchen stops taking orders at 8:45pm…. Maybe don’t offer a booking of 7:30pm then ?? Disappointed doesn’t really cut it

Pleasantly surprised by Lago. Oysters were spot on with the shallot vinaigrette. We went for the 2 courses and had the croquettes and meatballs for entree and both had the surf and turf for main. Steak was perfectly cooked. Staff were really friendly and ambiance of the restaurant is lovely. Will definitely be back.

Service was pleasant. However after waiting 90 mins for our main course, by which time two of the party had consumed a bottle of wine, they were underwhelming. The pasta dishes were ok. The slow cooked lamb was tough……… how does that happen?. Enough said.
