Opens a little late for my liking but of course that’s only my personal preference. I’m an early riser and almost always each lunch before 12 so had to hang out for this place to open.

The biggest problem is that the chicken and chips are powdery. The texture is very strange. The batter on the chicken is also heavy and greasy but the powdery seasoning was the main problem.

The hype is real, I think it’s the best chicken burger and chips in town. Whatever the fairy dust they put on the chips & the burger is just amazing ❤️ Mild is also easy to eat will try hot next! Price was fair and food came quick.

Do you ever wonder if a place is too good? This place is clucking good, seriously. I’m going to say it’s the best chicken I’ve had in Australia. Reminded me of Howlin Ray’s in LA, do yourself a favour and go here for a feed! They offer V2 (meat free) which made my partner happy too.

Great and simple chicken tender sandwiches I got hot sauce which was a builder in chilli heat wise, good seasoned fries with dipping sauce, you definitely need paper napkins. Prices were reasonable at under $20.

I’ve traveled the deep south and I’ve tried countless chicken sandwiches. Goldbird is on par with the best of the best. The chicken batter here wipes the floor with any other burger joint in Perth. The fillets are juicy and succulent, the fries will make you weep. I cannot fathom how this joint has empty seats on a Friday night. Go and treat yourself.

So, at first the prices were quick shocking and I thought I’d see it through as the restaurant looked really nice. Spent $80 for 3 people on chicken and chips. The chips were overly covered in seasoning, same as the chicken. Quality was really poor, wasn’t fresh, expected a lot more due to the price and venue. Let down, won’t be ordering again. What a waste of money honestly
