Worst meal and service ever!! Been coming here for years but today was absolute garbage. Ordered a seafood platter – arrived with cold garlic prawns, cold grilled fish, tough as an old boot cold battered fish and cold double fried chips! Told waitress and manager came out and took it way when we explained that 4 things were cold. Another manager comes out and tells us the chilli mussels were not cold!! Really? She felt the need to tell us that A she stuck her finger in the mussels and B felt the need to tell us that!? Perhaps communication went awry between the two managers and one told the other that we said everything was cold, that’s not what we said! Then to make matters worse we ordered a steak sandwich and a garlic bread (vastly different as I’d gone off my food by now) the steak sandwich was cooked and arrived 20 minutes later! So we ordered apple and rhubarb pie…. Not a single piece of rhubarb to be seen – I’ve shared the photo!!!

The four of us dined here on 16 August before going to the theater. The service was nothing special. I am a lady, and my beer was put front of me in s bottle, no glass. When asked for a glass we were told that they don’t serve beer like that. The $66 scotch fillet was full of fatty, chewy bits. The lamb rack was amazing. My daughter ordered a lamb shank, it was frozen inside. When I called a waitress over, she looked puzzled, and asked if we wanted another. Really people? At least show a bit of compassion. The price indicates fine dining but the experience is less than a pub visit. I’m not sure if I will return in a hurry..

If you’re in the Perth casino then the junction grill is a good place to grab lunch or dinner. They have $20 specials but they’re not quite as good as they used to be and a bit more limited in choice. The food is generally ok for what you paying but it’s not gourmet. Took my father today and we had the seafood platter for two ($75). There was a good selection of seafood, Salmon steak, grilled fish, garlic prawns, crumbed Calimari and chili mussels with 3 toasted slices of bread salad and chips. A good selection but most of it was overcooked and a bit tough except the grilled fish which was good as was the chili mussels. A good quantity of food was served but I would have preferred less food cooked with more care.

I went here for dinner on the recommendation of concierge due to various Crown restaurants being closed on Mondays. I was greeted relatively promptly and asked if I could sit outside. I was told that is not their area. The rude waitress then sat me right next to the kitchen & grill which was disgustingly hot. I asked to be moved which was done with some attitude. Once seated, I had barely had a minute to look at the menu and I had been asked twice in 2 minutes by the same rude waitress what I wanted to order. I ordered a bottle of wine and she went off and came back a minute later and told me that they do not sell bottles of wine to one person. I said well give me a glass then. I then sat there with no drink and nobody came to take my order. Eventually I waved the waitress down and asked to order and where my wine was. She was very put out that I ordered a herb and garlic bread and another wine. They did arrive promptly and I ordered my main. Both the herb and garlic bread and the lamb rack were lovely but I won’t go back there due to the rude service. Interesting that there are reviews from years ago saying similar things about the service. They obviously don’t care.
